We believe in the power of conservation efforts. This is why we've teamed up with the Raincoast Conservation Foundation!!! We would like to give back to our planet by donating a portion of our sales to the planet. Specifically, we will be proudly supporting the Raincoast Conservation Foundation's Salish Sea Emerging Stewards Program.

Raincoast’s mission is to protect the lands, waters, and wildlife of coastal British Columbia. Led by a team of conservationists and scientists, Raincoast’s projects are rooted in rigorous, peer-reviewed research and science, and informed by community and cultural engagement. This approach has been termed ‘informed advocacy’. Raincoast operates an applied conservation science lab at the University of Victoria and a research field station on the central coast; owns a conservation property on North Pender Island, BC; and runs a 68-foot Transport Canada certified research/sailing vessel. This on-the-ground presence, coupled with rigorous peer-reviewed science, distinctive among environmental groups, has given Raincoast a deep-rooted understanding of British Columbia’s vast coastline, its processes, and its people.

This program works with the Tsleil-Waututh Nation, WSANEC Leadership School, and the Cowichan School district to develop the program. This is the school district where my children attend school, so this educational program that empowers the youth to become ecologically mindful citizens seemed like a great fit!
