Landscape Gardener
Job summary:
We are seeking another enthusiastic hard-working individual to join us for four to five days per week. Experience is not necessary but relevant skills are. We are happy to train the right candidate into this role.
This position is for someone who wants to work in a positive and healthy work environment and will take the initiative to help the company with its goals and keep its work site & head quarters organized.
We provide training for success and to have a great experience with the company. You will gain confidence in working with gardens and plants and basic landscape construction like, installing plants, soil, gravel, trees, moving / adjusting irrigation, placing boulders, laying flagstone etc.
You must be able to; lift at least 50lbs, handle hard physical work, work in the cold, rain & heat and be approachable and friendly, have a valid BC drivers license.
We are a landscape design & construction & organic garden maintenance company; we focus on safe and sustainable practices. We are seeking people that share these values. You must be healthy and fit. You are also required to have a mobile phone with a mobile data plan and your own handheld garden pruners, rain gear, gloves, and steel toed boots.

Garden Maintenance Crew Lead
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of our landscapes and facilities. This position involves hands-on work with various tools and equipment to ensure that our outdoor spaces are well-kept and inviting. Leadership involves teamwork, collaboration, positivity and accountability.
Duties
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various maintenance activities.
Assist in the irrigation of gardens and landscaped areas to ensure proper watering.
Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and performing physical tasks.
Qualifications
Experience in landscape maintenance is preferred.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Knowledge of gardening practices, including planting, pruning, and irrigation techniques.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
